A Little Dose of Unexpected Joy

I recently had a new idea that I'm very excited to roll out.

The Story Behind the Idea

The story behind the idea came from a recent Mexico trip for my husband’s work (lucky wife), where I had the opportunity to share the heart behind my business with several new people.

Everyone I spoke to was overly kind and said they wanted to learn more and support me - I even gave away the bracelet I was wearing.

Because I’m so passionate and thankful for their kindness, I immediately say “I’ll just make you something that you’ll love (don’t worry about buying anything)”. This comes from a genuine place of truly wanting to spread a little joy, but my business mind is like “Madi, you are running a business and the reality is that you need sales so stop giving stuff away for free”!

This led me to chewing on the idea of trying to make this a win-win for both my desire to be generous and also grow my business.

How can I surprise and delight people by making them something unexpected but also grow my business?

Introducing: A Little Dose of Unexpected Joy

Here’s how it works:

  1. Once a month, I invite you to share the story of someone in your life who could use a little extra love—a friend, family member, coworker, or even a kind-hearted stranger who has touched your life. Tell me why you think they’d appreciate a meaningful keepsake from You’ve Got The Love.

  2. Each month, I will choose one story and create a special, personalized piece—completely free—as a small but powerful way to spread kindness and joy.

  3. If your story is chosen, I’d love to share it on social media (anonymously if you prefer). If you’d rather keep it private, just let me know when you submit the story.

Not only will this hopefully help spread brand awareness, but I also get the joy of being able to unexpectedly delight someone I don’t even know. Hearing people’s stories around the words they’d choose for themselves or someone else is always so fulfilling and the best reminder of why I do what I do.

So now I need your help: Head to this link on my website or click the button below to submit a story of a friend, family member, work colleague, or anyone who you think could use a little love in their life and we can create something special together.

Thanks in advance for supporting this new idea of mine :)

I’m excited to see what comes from it.

Love,

Madison
