2025 Q1 Goals

Like so many, I’ve been enjoying the fresh start that January brings, reflecting on my goals for both my personal life and business this year.
Last year, I really committed to chasing my personal goals. While I didn’t achieve all of them, I felt so proud of the ones I did accomplish. One of those goals was to rediscover creativity and joy through You’ve Got The Love. At the time, I had no idea what that would look like—or that it would mean leaving a stable, full-time job to dive in fully. But looking back, I’m so thankful I made it a priority.
All of this to say: no matter how big or small your goals may be, being intentional about what you want can totally pay off and help move you toward the life you want.
This post is a little peek into my goals for You’ve Got The Love during the first quarter of 2025.
1. Complete Exceptional Valentine’s Day Product Launch
We’re deep in Valentine’s Day prep over here. January tends to be a slow month after all the holiday spending, so I’ve been using this time to focus on planning for my next big opportunity. With my business revolving around meaningful dates, events, and holidays, Valentine’s Day is naturally a huge one.
We are well into this one but with the slowness, January can bring to the new year (who wants to spend more post-Christmas) I wanted to focus my time on planning for the next big opportunity this year. Because my business revolves around meaningful dates, events, and holidays, naturally, Valentine’s Day is a big one.
This year, I’m launching The Forever Love Note, a product born out of a few creative sessions earlier this month. I’m super excited about it—even if sales have been slow so far (ha).
In addition to that, I’m collaborating with a local floral shop to offer a “Love You Always Bouquet” for the holiday, and I’ll also be participating in three events: two in-person engraving pop-ups at the floral shop and one small business market (the one that we got Honey at!).
Complete Rebranding
Over the holidays, I realized that I don’t always know how to describe my business. Am I a jewelry company? An engraving business? The truth is, I want to create meaningful goods that remind us of what matters most, but I struggle to explain that clearly and concisely.
I know how important it is for customers to really understand what a business stands for, which is why I’m committing to clarifying my brand identity. Also - a new logo is on the list, too.
Post One Video Per Week
One of my main focuses for this year is to build trust with my customers. I want to get to know you—and for you to get to know me. I think videos are a great way to connect, so I’ve made it a goal to post one video per week.
I want to continue to show up authentically and be brave with the stories that I’m sharing. Life is a lot better when you have people by your side through the highs and lows, so if sharing my experiences can help even one person, I’ll consider it a win.
Create Big Picture Product Plan
This goal is all about being strategic about when I release new collections and products. In the past, I’ve taken more of a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants approach, launching products whenever inspiration struck.
This year I want to be ahead of the game and be more intentional about when and why I am releasing something this year. I have so many ideas but not all of them all good (lol) so this plan will help me create some structure while staying creative.
My wonderful business coach and best friend inspired this goal with the additional hope that it will help me stay motivated even on days when I don’t feel creative. There’s nothing worse than coming up to a deadline (like Father’s Day) knowing that you want to do something cool for all the dads but feeling like you’re in a creative slump with no motivation (I definitely have these weeks).
Hit $5.5K in Revenue
This goal feels the most intimidating... especially considering I’ve only made a few sales this year. But that’s ok - I have a few markets on the calendar and know that I can work my way toward this goal.
During Christmas I was able to pass my $4k goal which was way more than I thought possible so in the spirit of growth and pushing myself and the business, this goal feels right.
And that’s the plan! Now I just have to walk the walk :)
If you ever want to chat about setting personal or business goals, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re looking for tips or just someone to cheer you on as you work toward your dreams, I’m here for it!
Here’s to a fresh start and making this year a good one.
